Residential blaze in Vanderhoof

The Vanderhoof Fire Department responded to a small residential blaze early yesterday morning.

At 6:46 am, three trucks and 22 fire-fighters responded to the fire at 373 Connaught Street.

The fire was contained mostly to the bathroom and kitchen, but other areas of the home sustained water and smoke damage.

There is no damage estimate at this time and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
