Kevin Davis scored 3:21 into overtime to give the Everett Silvertips a 2-1 victory over the Prince George Cougars. It was the Cougars first game this season that was decided beyond regulation time.
Ty Edmonds was again sharp in the Prince George net with 36 saves as Everett outshot the guests 38-24. Brogan O’Brien tallied his 6th goal of the season for the Cats.
The 8-6-1 Cougars continue on the road tonight (Saturday) in Kamloops. The 7-8 Blazers are coming off a 2-1 triumph over the Vancouver Giants.
