The Thompson Rivers Wolfpack swept both the men’s and women’s basketball doubleheaders in Prince George this weekend.
TRU cruised to a 85-58 victory on the women’s side against the Lady T-Wolves.
The Wolfpack were led by Emma Piggin who scored 23 points.
Kassie Colonna and Emily Vilac also chipped in with 13 and 12 points respectively.
Vasiliki Louka led the Lady T-Wolves in scoring with 18 points.
TRU took the opener 69-54.
UNBC will head to Kelowna next weekend and play the UBCO Heat.

On the men’s side, TRU edged the T-Wolves 85-79 at the Northern Sport Centre.
Thompson Rivers University was led by the trio of Reese Pribilsky, Josh Wolfram and Volodymyr Iegorov who scored 70 of the team’s 85 points.
The T-Wolves were led by Australian Rhys Elliott who netted 30 points.
The WolfPack also won a close game on Friday 94-89.
The UNBC men’s basketball team will also head to UBCO next week to battle the Heat in Kelowna.
