A group of PG city councillors are in Ontario attending this year’s Federation of Canadian Municipalities conference.
Garth Frizzell says a big topic of conversation has been Ottawa’s promise of $14 billion over the next decade for the Build Canada Fund.
Frizzell says municipalities need to know where to make applications for grants in time for this year’s construction season.
He says PG hasn’t come up with their wish list yet but says it might include basic infrastructure needs and perhaps money for social amenities.
