Guard Rhys Elliott of the UNBC Timberwolves is the Canada West Third Star of the Week. Elliott scored 29 and 30 points in a pair of close losses to TRU of Kamloops. The fourth-year International Business student from Adelaide, Australia led all Canada West scorers. The men’s and women’s basketball Timberwolves resume action in Kelowna against the UBC Okanagan Heat on Friday and Saturday.
