Weather Warning for Prince George

A powerful winter storm is due to hit Prince George on Thursday.

Environment Canada has released a special weather alert for the area.

A western-bound cold front is expected to stall over the Northern Interior, bringing with it winds of up to 80 Km/H and heavy precipitation Thursday morning.

Residents are advised to monitor future forecasts on the Environment Canada Website.
