Emergency response team concludes search on Ahbau Street

IMG_1961

The North District RCMP’s Emergency Response Team has concluded an investigation of a home on the 1100 block of Ahbau Street in Prince George.

RCMP say a 24 year old man and a 23 year old woman were arrested outside the residence without incident Wednesday night.

The arrests prompted a search of the home for potential firearms or other weapons inside. Police closed a part of Ahbau and Dahl street while executing the search.

The Prince George residents will stay in custody until their first appearance in court on Friday. Police say they will likely face firearms related charges.
