PG Public Library hosting Touch a Truck end of this week

The Prince George Public Library’s Touch a Truck will be at Canada Games Plaza on Friday.

The event, which is open to all ages, will have various vehicles including fire trucks, military vehicles, electric vehicles, and more.

Manager of Communications and Engagement, Steve Hamilton said at the end of the event, they will also have a drive in movie.

“We’re doing a movie afterwards in the library. We got a showing of Cars 2, so we encourage people to come in and watch.”

“It’s going to be an all vehicles, all day type environment.”

Hamilton added they will also have the Ride-On Train coming from the Railway Museum during the event.

The event is free, and will go from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the movie from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Bob Harkins Branch.

More information can be found on the Prince George Public Library’s website here.
