City of PG re-enters social media world

The City of Prince George is back to using social media to get its message out.

Corporate Communications Specialist Mike Kellett says the City went offline for about a year but are back after adopting a social media policy and because they finally have the resources in place to do the job.

Starting this week the City will use such social networking platforms as LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram.

He says the City will use the sites to promote Corporate initiatives and job opportunities as well as allow broader engagement with the public.
