PG contractor named incoming president of Canadian Home Builders Association of Northern B.C.

Prince George will be well represented within the Canadian Home Builders Association of Northern BC Board of Directors.

Nathan Saarela the owner and operator of Ulko Contractors Ltd. was named incoming president on Thursday during the group’s Annual General Meeting.

Saarela is experienced in residential, commercial and industrial construction – from custom homes to multi-level apartments.

Angèle Heinrichs, owner and operator of Angèle’s Drafting & Design based in Fort St. John, BC will remain active in the role of Past-President.

The 2025-2026 Board of Directors elected to represent the CHBA of Northern BC include:

Since moving to Prince George in 2015, Brendan has covered local sports including the WHL’s Prince George Cougars, Prince George Spruce Kings, UNBC Timberwolves, Cariboo Cougars AAA, and Northern Capitals U18 female hockey teams. The Prince George RCMP is on the lookout for 58-year-old Lisa Seigo. According to police, she was last seen around 20th Avenue and Tamarack Street on September 21st at around 2:00 pm.
