The Prince George Fire Department responded to a fire in a home in the Sunrise Trailer Park early this morning.
18 fire fighters from three halls arrived at the property on Lansdowne Road at about 5:15am and were met outside by the lone occupant of the home, who had been alerted of the fire by a neighbour coming home from work.
Most of the fire was in the sub floor of the home and fire fighters were able to limit the damage to the basement area. Crews were on scene for two hours.
There were no injuries and initial reports suggest the fire was not suspicious.
