New UHNBC parkade to partially open next week

The new 471-space parkade at the University Hospital of Northern B.C. will be partially open for the public and staff in the coming days.

The parkade, next to the BC Cancer Centre for the North, was originally set to open on November 10th, but was pushed back due to pre-opening activities required to ensure the safety of the facility.

According to Northern Health, work on the parkade is continuing and some portions of the parkade will remain closed to the public until completed.

They add updates about the availability of parking for hospital staff, visitors and patients will be posted on its social media pages.

The partial opening will be on Monday.
