Ty Edmonds stopped 27 shots for his 2nd shutout of the season helping the Prince George Cougars to a 3-0 victory over the Everett Silvertips.
Edmonds has the best save percentage (.938) and second best GAA (1.98) in the WHL.
Colby McAuley scored the first two goals as the Cougars extended their point streak to seven games (6-0-0-1).
Kody McDonald added an empty netter and an assist.
The Cougars visit Vancouver Sunday before hosting Kootenay Tuesday.

The Northern Capitals whipped the Kootenay Wild 5-1 in the first of three games in the BC Hockey female midget triple A League. They play again today (Saturday) at 4:30 at Kin 1 and Sunday at 8:15am at CN Centre.
