ਇੱਕ ਹੀ ਭਸ਼ਾ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਰਦਾ। / ک ہی بھاشا جان کے نہیں سردا۔! (One language is never enough!)

The City of Prince George has installed it’s first multi-lingual signs on the corner of 5th and Kelly.

The signs are in English and Punjabi, directing people to local temples.

The signs for the Guru Nanak Darbar Temple on Davis Road are expected to be installed thc265490a-1b63-4b8b-a429-afdb5c7783d2is week.

This is the result of a request to council from the Guru Nanak Darbar Sikh Society last May.

At the following council meeting on May 25, 2015, Council passed a resolution directing staff to move forward with a similar request for signage from the Guru Gobind Singh Temple Association.

Mayor Lyn Hall and members of Council attended a ceremony at the Guru Gobind Singh Temple on Sunday for the unveiling of the signs.
