It may seem like attack of the caterpillars in certain neighbourhoods in Prince George, but an expert says they’re harmless.
Dr. Staffen Lindgren is an Ecosystem Science and Management professor at UNBC.
If you find them bothersome he recommends picking them off bushes or if they’re invading your yard to wrap something around the trunks of your trees to prevent them from climbing up.
He expects the outbreak will wrap up in two to three weeks.
Something going on in the Prince George area you think people should know about?
