Food for Fare program returns to PG

The City of Prince George is bringing back it’s Food for Fare program for another year.

Business Manager for Engineering and Public Works, Dave Bradshaw says it’s starts tomorrow (Tue).

“This year we will be running it from the 15th to the 17th and it allows our transit riders to ride the bus for free in donation of a non-perishable food item.”

The initiative is in partnership with BC Transit and members of City Council will deliver the proceeds to the Salvation Army’s Curt Garland Community Support Centre on 18th Avenue and Nicholson Street on December 21st.
