260 rides home were given by Operation Red Nose last weekend.
Spokesperson, Andrea Johnson says after six nights they are quite happy with their overall total.
“After three weekends we have given 568 rides which is pretty good with one weekend left and then we have New Year’s Eve so we are looking forward to the next three nights.”
At one point on Saturday there was a 45 minute wait for rides but teams caught up to the demand two hours later.

At least 40 volunteer teams will be needed for the run on December 31st.
