The 2026 Dodgeball Championship presented by 10th on Central Liquor Store raised nearly $10,000 to support cancer patients staying at the Kordyban Lodge.

It brought together local businesses, community champions, and Prince George Cougars fans.

The Kordyban Lodge provides a home away from home for individuals facing cancer, whether they are staying for a few days or several months, easing the burden of treatment with comfort, care, and community.

Funds raised will support essential needs including medical equipment, wheelchairs, walkers, and even a new concrete walkway to improve accessibility for patients.

“You could feel it. What started out as a bit of a wild idea to watch some dodgeball carnage on the ice turned into something really meaningful. Hearing what these funds will do and seeing the pride from every player, that was the best part,” said Dustin Lloyd, event organizer.

Local businesses Central Builders PG, Cycle North Powersports, Finning, and Inland Truck & Equipment each donated $1,000 and brought teams to the ice, with 10th on Central Liquor Store matching those contributions for a total of $8,000.
