City Council grants adoption for Studio 2880 property rezoning

Prince George City Council gave the final reading for a zoning amendment that could bring more housing to where Studio 2880 is at this week’s meeting.

In March, City Council was presented with a proposal from City staff to rezone the City-owned property, located at 2820 and 2880 15th Avenue, facilitating a mixed-use development.

A staff report presented to Council in March said this would be a 45-unit, six storey apartment building.

A site-specific was included to allow Studio 2880 to continue to operate at the property following the redevelopment.
