Tourism Prince George launces its third passport trail

Community members in Prince George can participate in Tourism Prince George’s Patio Trail Passport.

The organization launched the program as a way for the community to take in the City by checking out different local businesses with patios.

“What we’re almost doing in a way is gamifying the process of visitors and residents of Prince George to be able to try new experiences.” said Executive Director Scott McWalter.

“Even if it’s somewhere they’ve already been before, it can be that incentive to go back and try it again.”

McWalter said programs like this including Hit the Trail, and Bites, Flights and Sights passport trails, bring a big impact to the visitor economy.

Anyone taking part will also be entered for a prize draw after visiting three participating locations.

The Patio Trail Passport will continue until September 7th, with sign up and more information on Tourism Prince George’s website here.
