Watermain repair to close section of Carney Street

Prince George residents who commute along a northern part of Carney Street will have to find another route tomorrow. (Tuesday)

According to the City, Carney Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from Second Avenue to the First Avenue/River Road intersection for an emergency water utility repair.

Pedestrians and cyclists will have access along the west side of Carney Street. Southbound traffic coming across the Cameron Street bridge will detour to First Avenue.

Crews are expected to be on site from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The City’s traffic impact map, which provides daily information on traffic closures and impacts, can be found here.
