Prince George Mounties seeking surveillance footage around Lansdowne shooting

The Prince George RCMP are turning to the public for witnesses to a shooting.

According to police, the incident occurred on the 3700 block of Lansdowne Road, just before 8 a.m. on Tuesday. Witnesses reported hearing shots fired in the direction of a mobile home in the area.

A grey sedan with an Albertan license plate was seen leaving the area around the time, and is believed to be involved.

Police say investigators located evidence of a shooting, and entered the trailer in question to determine the safety of the occupants when door knocks went unanswered.

Three people were found inside the trailer unharmed.

“We are asking for anyone in the area who may have witnessed the event or has dash camera footage or video surveillance showing the incident or movement in the neighbourhood at the time it occurred to please contact our non-emergency line to speak with a police officer,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.

The investigation is ongoing.
