Power play helps the Giants trip up the Cougars

The Vancouver Giants scored three power play goals in a span of 5 minutes and 13 seconds in the 2nd period and they went on to a 4-1 victory over the Prince George Cougars.

Jesse Gabrielle gave P.G. a short lived lead just prior to the Giants tallying two of their power play tallies 54 seconds apart.

Thomas Foster scored twice and assisted on the Vancouver empty netter.

Ryan Kubic made 30 saves as the Cats outshot the guests 31-29 before 2,876 fans.

The same teams meet again today (Sunday) at 5 p.m. at CN Centre.
