CNC gives update on building envelope project at P.G. campus

Building envelope work is continuing at the College of New Caledonia’s Prince George campus.

The project began in May 2025, with current work involving landscaping, window installation, exterior wall upgrades, insulation, siding installation, painting, and exterior finishing.

The college said the work will be taking place in the 100 to 700 Blocks throughout the month.

The goal for the project is to enhance the campus’ exterior through energy-efficient upgrades, improved sustainability, and long-term infrastructure renewal, making it more comfortable and resilient for students, employees, and visitors.

The project, funded by the Ministry of Infrastructure, is estimated to be completed May 2027.
