It was an eventful end to the weekend for Prince George fire crews.

At about 8:40 p.m. last night (Sunday), crews from four halls responded to a residential structure fire in the 3700 block of Lansdowne Road.

On arrival, firefighters found a single detached modular home fully involved in fire.

Residents of the home were able to escape with minor smoke inhalation.

Damage to the home, car, and neighbouring residence is estimated at $30,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
