New housing projects in Prince George saw a resurgence in 2015 with 269.
This smashes last year’s total of 158 and CMHC Market Analyst, Taylor Pardy says one major reason was behind rebound.
“In general the new construction market tends to relieve pressure from the re-sale market when the volume of listings is low relative to demand and that is the case in Prince George.”
Of the 269 new homes being constructed 100 were multi-family units while the remaining 169 were single-detatched dwellings.
