Body Slams & Big Hearts: local wrestling promotion raises funds to support regional health care

Primetime Wrestling raised over $1600 to support the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation during its “Big Time” show at CN Centre on Friday.

Promoter, Stuart Brown told MyPGNow.com the show went over fairly smoothly.

“I think it went absolutely amazing, considering some of the issues we had with injuries beforehand. We were still able to get enough talent here to do the show. Everyone that I’ve talked to loved it and hopefully that uh will be returning next year for big time too to the CN Centre.”

About 12-hundred people attended the show, which featured longtime WWE wrestler Al Snow as well as local wrestling star The Prospector.

The next Primetime Wrestling Shows are slated for November 13th and 14th at the Conference and Civic Centre.
