Cougars Give Away Car

CougarsFanlineupNot only did the Prince George Cougars win a weekend double-header against the Kamloops Blazers, but one fan is now the owner of a new car.

Prince George resident, Linda Glover, was one of more than 46-hundred fans in attendance for Saturday night’s game.

As part of a weekend of give-aways, adults attending the game were entered into a free draw to win the Nissan Micra from Northland Nissan.

Photo at left (courtesy PG Cougars) shows the crowd lining up for the chance to win the free ride home.

BC Transit enables digital validation for BC Bus Pass users

Transit users in Prince George will have another option for paying for their ride. BC Transit and the Province announced that effective September 1st, BC Buss Pass products are enabled for contactless tap validation in transit systems that operate Umo digital payments.
