Local first nation hosts first ever career fair

Several people from the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation took a glimpse into the future on Saturday by attending their first ever career fair in Prince George.

New Relationship Trust Community Navigator, Gloria Catherall says it pushed people in the right direction for their desired career path.

“It helps them get a career plan going and to help jump-start what they need to do as a goal in the end result of where they want to be in life and work.”

The event was run in conjunction with New Relationship Trust and the Lheidli T’enneh.

Vista Radio is hosting a career fair of it’s own tomorrow (Thu) from the PG Golf and Curling Club from 10am to 3pm.
