Trial for Prince George firefighter underway

The trial for a Prince George firefighter has gotten underway today.

32 year old Jeremy Matthew Kostyshyn is charged with six counts of possession of stolen property over 5 thousand dollars, and three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Kostyshyn was arrested in May last year after RCMP recovered over 200 thousand dollars worth of stolen property, including two jet boats, a skid steer tractor, and mini excavator.

Two other firefighters will be testifying against Kostyshyn.

The trial is expected to wrap up on Friday.
