Airport Authority CEO named to Airport Council

The Prince George Airport Authority’s President and CEO has been named Chair of the Canadian Airports Council.

John Gibson takes over the position after serving as vice chair on the council since 2012.

Gibson says this is good news for Prince George.

Gibson says issues he wants to press that are important to northern BC include getting funding from the government for safety related issues, and addressing visa-related issues with investors, overseas students, and tourists.

Gibson has been in the aviation industry for over 40 years.
