Thadius Galvez and Denzel James continued their dominance against the UNBC Timberwolves men’s basketball team on Friday as the Grant MacEwan Griffins beat UNBC 85-68.
Both players scored 16 points each for the Griffins while Marcus MacKay was the leading scorer for the T-Wolves with 17 points.
Grant MacEwan went 33 for 65 on field goals.
26 of the Griffins points came off UNBC turnovers.

The Lady T-Wolves women’s basketball team took one on the chin losing 90-46 against Grant MacEwan.
UNBC shot just 29% on field goals while Vasiliki Louka was the top scorer with 12 points.
Megan Wood netted 21 points in the victory for the Griffins including a 9 for 16 showing on field goals.
The Timberwolves conclude their seasons on Saturday in Edmonton against Grant MacEwan.
