Jandric commits to Vipers

Another member of the Cariboo Cougars will be suiting up in the BCHL this fall.

17 year old defenseman Chris Jandric has signed on the dotted line with the Vernon Vipers.

He’ll get a chance to play with his older brother and Cariboo alum Stephen Jandric.

In 39 games this season the Prince George product has 34 points.

Jandric saw action in two games this season with the Vipers.

He joins Chase Dubois and Jesse Pomeroy who have signed commitments to play in the BCHL in the 2016-17 season.

Prince George Fire Rescue Chief Fire Bryan Burleigh says an insurance adjuster has been assigned in the fire that destroyed the Nechako Bottle Depot Sunday, and an investigation will commence this week. Fire crews were called to the depot just before 5:00 Sunday morning, and spent much of the day battling the blaze before calling it extinguished in the evening.
