UPDATE 1130a: The Prince George RCMP has confirmed Bruynzeel has been found safe. RCMP wish to thank the Prince George Search & Rescue Society and all those who assisted in the search.
A High River, Alberta man has gone missing during his visit to Prince George.
Emergency crews are currently on the lookout for 53 year old Douglas Wayne Bruynzeel who has not been heard from since 10 pm on Wednesday evening.
RCMP, Emergency Management BC and the Prince George Search and Rescue Society are searching just south of the city after he left a relative’s home on Patterson Road East in the Red Rock community.
Bruynzeel’s vehicle is still in the driveway after a search was conducted Thursday morning.
He is five feet eleven inches tall with blue eyes, bald and is caucasian.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Prince George RCMP.
