Aiden’s wish coming true

childrens wishBecause he wished it, a child and his family are headed to Disney World.

The Children’s Wish Foundation have chosen to fulfill 6-year-old Aiden Barwise’s dream of hanging out with Mickey and friends.

The little guy suffers from both a heart condition and a lung disease.

Aiden’s Mother Tracy says he’s a great kid, and she was surprised when she found out he’d get to live out his wish

“We were shocked when they approached us, truthfully, but when you stop and think about all Aiden’s been through to get to this stage of his life, he really and truly deserves this and it’s an amazing thing they do for these children,” she says.

The Foundations Provincial Director Jennifer Petersen says it’s an amazing feeling to make an impact on a child’s life.

“To come in and give the gift of a wish is an incredible feeling and it makes a lot of kids really happy.”

Aiden’s trip will happen sometime in the next 6 months.
