Prince George’s Northern Women’s Festival Nights of Valkyries fundraiser is set for Saturday night.
It goes from 5 to 10 pm at Game Quest and all-ages are welcome according to Organizer Laura Lawrence.
“Everyone is welcome, you can bring the kids and family. We will have a kids table with Pokemon and all kinds of games.”
With it being one of the newer festivals in town, it’s crucial to raise as much money beforehand.
“The Northern Women’s Festival is a new festival. It takes place from July 29th to August 1st and we are starting a new board so we need to have funds to start up a society and form a non-profit.”
Adult tickets are $10 while kids are $5.
You can also purchase a group of 6 for $50.
Local businesses such as Northern Fan Con and Bolli Imports will be donating prizes.
A Mario Kart tournament will also be held.
