B.C stands to benefit from a $4.5 billion dollar investment from Telus through 2019.
Prince George has seen a vast improvement in their services according to Spokesperson, Liz Sauve.
“Telus has deep roots in Prince George and last year we invested $8 million dollars upgrading wireless service to 4GLTE which is the fastest wireless connection you can get in the world today.”
At the conclusion of 2019, Telus will have invested $51 billion in the province since 2000.
Improved services have also been put in place along a 500 kilometre stretch of Highway 16 between Prince George and Prince Rupert.
Telus expanded wireless coverage to over 1500 kilometres of highway under the Connecting BC Agreement since 2011.
