Payne is UNBC’s gain

Midfielder Paige Payne of Kitimat has been added to the roster of the UNBC Timberwolves women’s soccer team.

Payne played her first under-18 season last year in Prince George after spending her early club career in Terrace, where she won a bronze medal at the 2014 under-16 provincial championship.

The 17-year-old Payne has applied for the biomedical studies program with an eye toward becoming a physiotherapist.
