Hutcheon new ICS Executive Director

Innovation Central Society has a new Executive Director.

Matt Hutcheon brings over 20 years of business and leadership experience to ICS. He’s spent the last two years managing local businesses and First Nations’ finances.

Hutcheon says he’s bringing “a lot of experience in client coaching and working with companies who are looking to commercialize technology” to the table.

He’s also been the CEO of the Kingston, Ontario Chamber of Commerce, which will also help in his new role.

“I’ve got the organizational and management experience as well. That’s the other part of the role with Innovation Central and building partnership, establishing relationships, developing new programs and that sort of thing.”

His first order of business is to raise the local profile of ICS, which is a non-profit that helps local start-ups companies.
