Morning fire considered "suspicious"

Firefighters are treating a fire in Prince George Thursday morning as suspicious.

Crews were called to the blaze just before 8:00 am in the 2500 block of Pine Street.

Assistant Chief Greg Wilkins says on arrival they found thick smoke and flames coming from the roof of a single car garage which he says they put out in short order.

He says there were no injuries and notes investigators are currently on scene trying to determine a cause.
