Attempted armed meat robbery at local grocery store

The Prince George RCMP are asking the public for help identifying a suspect in an attempted armed robbery.

On Tuesday April 19th, at about 930p, police were called to the Save on Foods on 15th and Victoria.

Officers attended learned a man was trying to steal a basket of meat from the store when he was confronted by an employee. The man then pulled a knife, dropped the basket and ran on foot with a waiting female towards downtown Prince George.

The suspect is described as.

· First Nations male
· 168 cm (5’6″)
· 82 kg (180 lbs)
· Shaved head
· Wearing red knee length athletic shorts, black t-thirt and a black long sleeve zip sweater
