Taylor Gauthier is now the future between the pipes for the Prince George Cougars.
He was selected 9th overall in the 1st round in Thursday’s WHL Bantam Draft and is excited to be coming up north.
“I have heard nothing but good things from people who have been there and excited to be part of the organization.”
Gauthier adds it was a memorable moment.
“Seeing Prince George walk up to the stand and hearing I was drafted by them was one of the best moments of my life and I have never felt that way before. It was an amazing experience.”
In 19 games, he had 15 wins including 7 shutouts and a .948 save percentage.
