Vista Radio is holding another job fair on Thursday.
Organizer Kyle Wightman believes the one-day event is a win-win for employers and applicants.
“This is not just exciting for the employers finding employees but for anyone looking to get a vacant position with a lot of trusted companies. It’s a golden opportunity from 10 am to 3 pm at the Prince George Curling Club.”
Wightman adds some different opportunities will be presented for prospective workers that may not have been available during the winter. “Prince George is a seasonal city. The city has a bunch of seasonal positions open and each season kind of brings in different opportunities with different companies.”
B.C Corrections and Lowe’s will be in attendance along with non-profit AimHi Prince George.
Nearly a dozen employers have signed up for the fair.
