PG RCMP Victim Services searching for “Unsung Heroes”

The three RCMP Victim Service units in Prince George are putting out a call for some unsung heroes who have volunteered their time.

It’s part of Victims and Survivors of Crime Week which concludes on June 2nd with a special gala June 2nd at Fore Bistro and Patio.

RCMP Victim Services Coordinator, Krista Levar believes it’s a good way to recognize people who have made a positive impact.

“The community does so much and I think that we don’t always hear about the good things people do. People need help to get back on their feet after they have experienced some sort of loss or trauma and the ones who help those individuals who help them need to be recognized for their services.”

Categories for nominations are Community, Business, Sports, Non-Profit, and Volunteer.

Nominations are due May 24th and can be submitted to [email protected].
