The Prince George Cougars will play five pre-season games, three on the road and two at home. The Cougars will face Red Deer August 30th and Medicine Hat August 31st with those games in Edmonton as part of a six-team pre-season showcase. The defending Memorial Cup Champion Edmonton Oil Kings will play back-to-back exhibition games at CN Centre on Friday, September 5th and Saturday, September 6th. The final pre-season test for the Cougars will take place on Friday, September 12th against the Blazers in Kamloops.
