Don’t be surprised if you see a van snapping a photo of your home starting this week.
BC Assessment says the residential photo update initiative will take digital photos of approximately 19,000 single fames homes in PG.
It’s the first time the technology has been used in Northern BC but has already been successfully used in other parts of the province.
They say the purpose of taking the photos is to ensure that all properties are fairly assessed for tax purposes.
They say the photos will not include any personal information.
