Cougars lock up another prospect

The Prince George Cougars have signed defenceman Jack Michell to a Standard WHL Contract.

Michell was selected in the 3rd round, 53rd overall in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft.

He posted 18 points (6 goals) with the Saskatoon Stallions in his final year of bantam hockey and will suit up for the Saskatoon Contacts of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League this fall along with fellow prospect Cole Beamin.

The Cougars also inked Beamin and Taylor Gauthier earlier this week.

All three are expected at training camp in late August.
