Police confirm fatal shooting in Prince George

A 30-year old Prince George man is dead after a shooting Wednesday night.

RCMP say it happened just after 11 o’clock on the 2600 block of Forest Avenue near Ospika Boulevard.

Officers found the victim deceased in the driveway and suffered at least one gunshot wound.

The victim was known to police and believe this was a targeted shooting with links to the drug trade.

Police have not stated whether this is connected to last week’s targeted shooting on Freeman Street.
