Environment Canada issues summer forecast

Prince George is in line for a normal summer according to Environment Canada.

June has been warmer than normal up to this point with July and August coming in on the seasonal side.

Meteorologist, Lisa Coldwells explains what’s in store for the city when it comes to precipitation.

“We are going to be looking at quite a few days where we are going to have some showers or thundershowers pop up in the middle of the day which will then be interspersed with sunny warm days as well.”

The typical daily temperature should range from 21 to 24 degrees with overnight lows of about 10 to 13.
