By noon today Highway 97 from Mackenzie Junction to Chetwynd will be open to single-lane alternating traffic.
Of the 40 side roads affected, 21 are now open to a minimum of single- lane alternating traffic.
Highways 97 South between Mackenzie Junction and Chetwynd, and Highway 29 South between Chetwynd and Tumbler Ridge were closed because torrential rain and flooding last week.
